Kenya has trained EMDR clinicians since 2014 and has taught EMDR Basic Training, delivered through EMDR Consulting, LLC, since 2017. She holds EMDRIA Approved Trainer status from the designation's inaugural 2023 cohort.
Her clinical and teaching work centers on EMDR with couples and families, culturally responsive trauma treatment, affect regulation, and clinical supervision. She practices and trains in both English and Spanish, and has trained clinicians internationally.
All instructors on our platform are EMDRIA Certified Therapists.Most also hold EMDRIA Approved Consultant status, which qualifies them to provide the consultation hours clinicians need for EMDRIA certification.
Four EMDR & Beyond faculty provide EMDR consultation through our programs: JaCarie Owens, April Pence, Roxanna Carcamo, and Kenya Rocha. Structured programs run for both the certification and the Consultant-in-Training pathways, alongside individual hours and packages.
Roxanna Carcamo offers a Spanish-language consultation group.
