Bonnie Mikelson, LISW, brings a wealth of expertise in EMDR therapy, targeting the integration challenges therapists often face. With extensive experience in therapy, supervision, and training, Bonnie offers practical strategies focused on adults and older adolescents, including session structuring for sustained EMDR commitment and complex case management.
As Director and co-owner of EMDR & Beyond (retired), Bonnie has advanced EMDR practice through training and consultation throughout the Midwest. She has utilized her years of training expertise as a national trainer for the University of Iowa’s National Resource Center for Family Centered Practice and EMDR Consulting Basic trainer through launching specialty trainers to further enhance the understanding of EMDR therapy, particularly as it integrates with other therapy modalities. As Director of EMDR & Beyond’s Training Centre, Bonnie has broadened access to learning through sponsoring live and virtual training by prominent EMDR trainers/authors whose expertise strengthens the EMDR community nationally and internationally.
