Robert E. Manrique, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and the Founder and Clinical Director of EMDR Urban Healing Center in Chicago.

With nearly two decades of experience, Robert specializes in trauma-informed psychotherapy, EMDR therapy, and couples counseling, providing compassionate, culturally competent care to individuals, couples, and families.

He is a certified EMDR therapist and national EMDR consultant, helping clinicians deepen their trauma therapy skills. Robert is extensively trained in multiple couples therapy modalities, including the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT), the Gottman Method, and is currently completing certification in Relational Life Therapy. 

Fluent in Spanish and English, Robert has presented nationally and regionally, and served in leadership roles for the EMDR International Association, including as Chair of the Diversity and Public Practice Committee and Regional Coordinator for the Chicago area.

He is passionate about supporting underserved communities and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical practice.
