January 22, 2025 - Live In Person and Virtual

This continuing education program, led by Kenya Rocha, LMHC, NCC, is designed to equip clinicians with practical tools to enhance therapeutic progress with abuse survivors and clients with complex trauma. The workshop will focus on the development of emotional regulation skills, distress tolerance and mindfulness practices that promote stability and resilience in clients facing emotional trauma.  Open to all mental health practitioners. Will cover some aspects of EMDR. 

January 31, 2025 - Live webinar

This 3.5 hour program, led by Kenya Rocha, LMHC, NCC, is designed to equip clinicians with tools to understand and work with individuals experiencing high emotionality resulting from difficult situation or acute traumatic events. You will walk away with applicable tools to deescalate emotionality and understand how the brain stores trauma. No EMDRIA Credits for this course. Open to all who work with people, appropriate for humans service workers, mental health practitioners, emergency personell and others. 

This 12 hour specialty training,  led by Sheila Russel, LISW, explores the application of advance EMDR techniques tailored to the unique needs of first responders and military veterans, with a focus on fostering resilience and utilizing tactical language relevant to these populations. Learn to address the specific mental health challenges faced by these groups, including trauma, moral injury and the impact on family dynamic. Open to All EMDR Trained Therapists.

April 10 & 11, 2025 - Live In Person and Virtual

This 12 hour specialty training, let by Krista Helman, MSW adapts the eight-phase EMDR model to address the complexities of mourning and grief, emphasizing the reconstruction of the assumptive world. Rooted in the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, this protocol emphasizes how  positive memories serve as the bridge to grief integration. By addressing the pain of grief and other blocks to accessing adaptive information, EMDR-GRIEF helps remap the internal representation of the loss in space, time, and attachment, fostering a renewed sense of connection and orientation. Open to all EMDR Trained Practitioners.

This 7 hour continuing educational program led by Patricia Alvarado, LPCC, LMHC, provides a thorough exploration of the multifaceted impact of traumatic stress on children and adolescents.  The mental health professional will leave with increased knowledge and skills to support youth effectively and gain insights into how trauma manifests in the physiological, emotional, cognitive & behavioral realms of young individuals.  As a foundational training, it is open to all Mental Health Practitioners.

EMDR & Beyond has developed and expanded our On Demand online course catalog with expert EMDR trainers/clinicians to enhance the clinical application of EMDR therapy as integrated into specialty populations and other therapeutic modalities. Each course (excluding CIDP) offers EMDRIA and continuing education licensure credits along with a year to complete each course to obtain CE certificates for Certified EMDR Therapists and Approved Consultants as well as required licensure credits.

This workshop offered by Robin Shapiro, a renowned trainer, educator, author and psychotherapist, brings us a wealth of easy to apply interweaves and integrations for mood disorders, sexual trauma and dissociation. Robin brings her clinical experiences to the training room to help support your work. Robin offers guidance, demonstrations, practice and consultation as a bonus to this presentation. Crystal Whitlow, a renowned trainer and educator in EMDR therapy, presents an advanced online course series designed to enhance clinical skills by mastering Jim Knipe’s EMDR Toolbox protocols. This series is structured into three modules, each focusing on a common client defense: dissociation, avoidance, and shame.
Crystal offers an in-depth exploration of these pivotal defenses and their management through EMDR, providing structured approaches to improve trauma treatment outcomes.
