Although this training is not specific to dissociation with EMDR, it does bring core concepts for grounding and presence into the framework, along with the use of assessment of processing readiness, which inherently helps with dissociation.

EMDR with couples is different from individual EMDR because the therapist is working with the relationship system, not just one person's internal experience. That means tracking the emotional cycle between partners, building safety and co-regulation, and assessing readiness for processing within the couple dynamic.
