EMDR & Beyond trains clinicians in EMDR therapy and trauma-focused clinical practice, grounded in fidelity to the standard EMDR protocol and expanded through developmental, relational, somatic, and culturally responsive integration.

My passion is equipping clinicians to use EMDR with integrity while expanding their capacity to meet the whole person: body, story, culture, nervous system, relationships, and hope.
EMDR & Beyond builds on the foundation Francine Shapiro laid. Our EMDR trainings work within the standard EMDR protocol and deepen what a clinician can do with it, across every phase of the work.
We train two groups of clinicians. Some already use EMDR and want deeper clinical conceptualization, integration, and confidence with complex cases. Others are new to EMDR and want the right understanding and framing from the start.
My passion for EMDR and Beyond is helping clinicians transform trauma treatment from a protocol they perform into a grounded, ethical, culturally responsive healing relationship. I am committed to bridging research, fidelity, and clinical wisdom so therapists can work with complex trauma, dissociation, attachment wounds, grief, and resilience with greater confidence, humility, and care.
Our EMDR trainings build on the standard protocol and honor the field’s foundation. What we teach adds to a clinician’s understanding of EMDR.
Developmental, relational, somatic, and family systems work operates within EMDR, as part of how the Adaptive Information Processing model is applied in each phase.
Trainings are built around application. Clinicians leave with clinical thinking they can use with the clients on their current caseload.
We are committed to culturally responsive trauma treatment and facilitate training that works against bias and discrimination in the therapy room.

Kenya is the platform’s primary clinical authority. A developmental specialist serving children and families since 1989, she has 21+ years of clinical experience and 18+ years practicing EMDR, and is one of approximately 230 EMDRIA Approved Trainers globally. She is also Founder and CEO of MOSAIC Family Counseling Center, Inc.
All instructors on our platform are EMDRIA Certified Therapists.
Our faculty includes EMDRIA Approved Trainers and EMDRIA Approved Consultants, each teaching from their own clinical specialization.
